(5 Augl 1865 - 13 Mar 1928) Louis Zipfel
passed away Tuesday morning, March 13, 1928, after an illness of
about a week, from pleurisy and heart trouble. Louis Ernest
Zipfel was born in Germany Aug. 5, 1865. He came to this country
when two year old with his parents. The family lived in Washington
Co., Wis., for a few years, moving to Clark County, Wis. when he
was still a small boy. They settled on a farm in the town of Grant,
where he grew to manhood. In 1892 he was married to Miss Ann
Martin, who survives him. They settled on the old home farm in
Grant and lived there until two years ago last November, when they
rented the farm to their son and moved to Neillsville. Mr. Zipfel was a
most excellent man and citizen, quiet in his manner, honest and
industrious and aiming to do right in all things. He leaves to mourn
his death his wife, one son Fred, on the home farm, and one
daughter, Elsie, Mrs. Adolph Myer at home. He leaves also a sister,
Mrs. Bertha Frachette of Sherwood. The funeral will
be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, Friday afternoon at 2
o'clock, Rev. H. Brandt officiating. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
