Mr. John McCarl and Miss Amanda Heisler, both of the town of Grant, Clark County, Wis., were quietly married at Auburndale Sept. 6, 1927.
The groom is a prosperous farmer and a man much respected in his community and by all who know him. The bride is a most admirable lady who owns and carries on successfully a farm near that of the groom. She is very capable in the management of the place and equally capable in the care of the home.
The bride and groom have been friends and neighbors for a good many years and their marriage appears to be a happy result of their long acquaintance.
After the ceremony they left by auto on a wedding trip, extending into Canada.
The Press joins their many friends in best wishes and congratulations.
