NEILLSVILLE PRESS (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 09/15/1927 Kuenkel, Olga (8
SEP 1927) One of the
prettiest weddings of the season took place at the Globe Lutheran
Church Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, when Miss Olga Kuenkel,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kuenkel of the town of Hendren, Clark
County, Wis., became the bride of Mr. Fred Marg, son of Mr. and
Mrs. August Marg of the town of Pine Valley. The ceremony was
performed by Rev. Motzkus, pastor of the congregation. The bride
was beautifully attired in a gown of autumn glory satin crepe and
carried a gorgeous bouquet of bridal roses and lielies of the
valley. She was attended by Miss Hilda Marg, sister of the groom,
as matron of honor, who was elegantly gowned in Skinners satin
hydrangea blue crepe and wore a bouquet of red roses. Miss Mary
Fechtner, cousin of the bride, also a bridesmaid, wore a dress of
Skinners satin hydrangea blue crepe and a bouquet of red roses. The
groom was attended by Mr. Paul Kuenkel, brother of the bride, and
Mr. Frank Marg, brother of the groom. Following the church
ceremony, at 5 o'clock a wedding dinner was served at the home of
the bride's father to the immediate relatives of the contracting
parties. The home of the bride was beautifully decorated with pink
and white and white wedding bells. Many beautiful and useful gifts
were received. Mr. and Mrs. Marg
will go to housekeeping at once on the groom's farm, which he has
rented and prepared for his bride. He deserves our hearty
congratulations for having won such an accomplished housekeeper and
the success and future happiness of this estimable couple seems
assure. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
