OCT 1927) Mr. John Hoesly
AND Miss Lois Gillman were married at Des Moines, Iowa, Saturday
evening, Oct. 22, 1927. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marcus
Hoesly Sr. of this city (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.). He
graduated from Neillsville High School in the class of 1920 and
from the University of Wis. in 1924. For two years he taught
chemistry in the Iowa State College at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and last
August took a position with the Goodyear Rubber Co. at Akron, Ohio.
He is a young man of sterling character and energetic in all he
undertakes. The bride taught English in Iowa State College at the
same time the groom was employed here and is a young lady of fine
education and culture. Mrs. George,
Wolff, sister of the groom, left Thursday for Des Moines to attend
