JAN 1928) Mr. Adolph Meyer
and Miss Elsie Zipfel were united in marriage on Wednesday, Jan.
10, 1928, at St. John's Lutheran Parsonage, Rev. H. Brandt
officiating. A fine wedding dinner was served at the home of the
bride's parents, after which the bride and groom departed on a
wedding trip to Chicago and other points. The groom is the
son of Henry Meyer of East Pine Valley, Clark County, Wis., and
grew to manhood on the home farm, where he has spent most of his
life. He is an industrious young man and well liked by all who know
him. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Zipfel, who formerly lived on their
farm in the town of Grant, moving to the city a few years ago. She
has always lived at home with her parents and is a young lady of
quiet tastes. For some time she has been employed at clerical work
in the Pine Valley Cheese Company's office. The young couple
will lived for the present at the home of the bride's parents, the
groom having employment also with Mr. Zbinden in the Pine Valley
