Greenwood (21 December 1972)
St. Ann’s Society Christmas party was held Thursday evening in St. Mary’s hall.
St. Lucy and St. Agnes groups were hostesses. The program included readings,
skits and singing of Christmas hymns. Games were played, prizes were awarded and
a holiday lunch was served.
The Come and Know Christmas party was held at the home of Mrs. Godfrey Dyre
Saturday evening. Secret Pals were revealed and new one chosen. Gifts were
exchanged, games were played, prizes were awarded and a pot-luck lunch was
served. The next regular meeting will be held January 16 at 2 p.m. at the home
of Mrs. Matt Gregorich.
Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Brux were their daughters, Janet of
Milwaukee, Judith of Antigo and Monica of Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. O. R. Thompson of Portage visited Tuesday with his brother-in-law
and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart.
