Band dance at the opera house tomorrow night.

Miss Amy Colby, who teaches at Fond du Lac, is spending her vacation here at the A.S. Armstrong home.

Neil Johnson came up from Stevens Point last Friday for a visit at the R.A. Masters home.

P.W. Gullord and E.F. Wollenberg went to Eau Clair Monday on business.

Miss Cepha Peterson, who attends Normal at La Cross, is spending her holiday vacation her at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P.E. Peterson.

Mrs. Stewart of Chippewa Falls arrived here last Thursday for a visit at the Lee Wallis and L.E. Rees homes.

Mrs. Brockway went to Millston last week for a visit at the Archie Ketchum home.

The following each received a dandy big salmon from Dan Cook, who is visiting in the state of Washington: A.H. Noetzel, Mrs. J. Volk, Mrs. John Shanks, W. Steiner and C..H. Clute. The fish were dandies and much enjoyed by the recipients.

Art Brauneis of Chicago is visiting at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Brauneis.

Orlando Buker spent Christmas here at the home of his brother A.C. Buker. Orlando plays with Park's Orchestra.

Leo Wagner is visiting relatives and friends in this city.

Albert Shanks and Freedom Jones went to Gilman on Monday, where they will be employed on some painting jobs for a months or so.

Mrs. Jos. Merkel went to Marshfield yesterday for a few days visit with relatives and friends.

Mrs. Simon Schwarze and two sons went to Fairchild last Friday for a few days visit with relatives and friends.

Miss Mabel Sherman, who teaches at Hamburg, Wis., is spending her holiday vacation here at the home of her mother, Mrs. G. Sherman.

Norman Colby, assistant principal at Auburndale, is spending his holiday at the A.s. Armstrong home.

The Soo Line engine got off the track at the box factory Monday and it took the greater part of the afternoon to get it back on. An engine from Marshfield came to help.

Mrs. Thrapp and daughter of Madison are visiting at the Howard home.

Mrs. Melvin Thomas of Ontario, Wis. is visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Sischo, and other relatives.

Irving Sherman was an over Sunday visitor with relatives and friends at Neillsville.

H. Warner came down from Glidden Saturday for a few days visit with friends.

Miss Phylena Smith came over from Marshfield Saturday for a few days visit at the home of her mother, Mrs. Millie Smith.

Harry and Walter Johnson came over from Gilman last Thursday to spend a few days here with relatives and friends.

Miss Helen Klinke is spending her holiday vacation here at the home of her mother.

Miss Eleanore Withee, who attends school at Milwaukee, is spending her holiday vacation with her parents at Hemlock.

Clarence Peterson, who teaches at Durand, is spending his holiday vacation here at the Albert Dahl home.

Miss Leona Francis of Eau Claire was an over Sunday visitor here with relatives and friends.

Hawkin Ystad and O. Wisth came home from Milwaukee last week to spend Christmas with relatives and friends.

Mrs. Gertrude Sherman and daughter Mabel went Marshfield today, where Mabel will have her eyes treated.

Carroll Behrens, who is working at Hamburg, spent Christmas here at the home of his parents, Mr. a. nd Mrs. Otto Behrens.

Albert Zimmerman, who is working at Reedsburg, arrived here the latter part of last week for a visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Zimmerman Sr., on route one.
