F. B. Wing spent the weekend at Crystal Lake. Mrs. Wing and sister Beatrice MacMillan, who spent the past month there, returned her with him. Miss MacMillan returned n Tuesday to her home in Neillsville.

Mrs. Anthony Chariton and daughter returned to St. Paul, Sunday after spending several weeks here with her mother-in-law, Mrs. Cecilia Chariton.

Mrs. Ed Jolivette and sons, Pfc. Richard and Wayne, spent Tuesday with relatives in Greenwood.

John Kadonsky has returned from Milwaukee where he was been employed during the summer.

Mrs. Carl Scheuerman underwent a minor operation at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield on Monday. She plans to come home today.

The social meeting of the Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars was held at the home of Mrs. Ervin Bitter, Wednesday evening.

The Abbotsford Commercial Club is sponsoring a victory dance at the armory tonight for the benefit of the boys in service and the Veteran’s Advisory Committee. Refreshments are being served by the Auxiliary to our boys in service.
