Felix Mikolainis, an aged pioneer settler of the, town of Withee, died at his home on Tuesday, June 1, 1937. He had suffere a paralytic stroke on Sunday, May 30th. Deceased was born in Lithuania on Jan. 17, 1866 and came to America January fifty-one years ago. He was united in marriage at the age of 27 to Mary Holec, who passed away Nov. 20, 1936. In 1885, he came to Thorp and settled on a farm in the town of Withee, which was his home until his death. He leaves to mourn his passing, four children: Kase Mikolainis, of Marathon, Gedmon Mikolainis, of Thorp; Mildred and Bertha Mikolainis, of Chicago, and two grandchildren, Janet and Donald, and one brother, John, of Cicero, IL. Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig's Church on Saturday morning, June 5th. Rev. F. A. Kulig officiating, interment following in the parish cemetery. Pall beareres were: Anton Sobolewski, Geo. Zukowski, Geo. Jakowicz, Felix Mroz, Martin Przy.micki and Louis Malecki.
