Zwick, Clara (? - 15 March 1926)

It no doubt will be a shock to the old friends and neighbors of Mrs. Clara Zwick to hear that she passed on, March 15. The first of December she came to Southern California to visit her old friends, the A. J. Knorr family, who live in Arcadia. She seemed to enjoy herself very much among old friends from Wisconsin as well as California friends. About three weeks before her death, she made a visit to accompany the Knorrs to the Orange Show at San Bernardino. Three days later, she was taken suddenly ill -- the doctor calling it a complete nervous break down. She was taken to the Palm Grove Sanitarium at Duarte, where she passed away three days later.

Her body was taken to Oakland, California, to be laid beside that of her husband, Fred, who preceded her in death about two and a half years. An uncle and aunt of Oakland and an only sister, Mrs. Anna Jantz of Chicago, survive her.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Zwick came to Clark County and located in the town of York in 1892, living there until four years ago when they moved to Modesto, Calif.
