FLOWERS FROM CALIFORNIA
Mrs. August Marg of North Pine Valley received a box of beautiful flowers from her sister, Mrs. H. C. Uhlrich in Santa Ana, Calif., also some oranges grown from their own grove.
Mr. and Mrs. Uhlrich lived in Neillsville forty-one years ago. They have a house and a few lots on which they have 1 orange tree, 1 lemon, 2 apricot, 2 fig, 1 apple, 1 plum, 1 walnut tree and lots of shrubs and flowers, which are all in blossom. At present they have a bed of fifty white calla lilies in blossom, beside many other flowers. Mrs. Uhlrich writes that they are eating new potatoes and have been eating fresh vegetables since Christmas.
