Resong, Marie (Marriage - 14 April 1926)

Mr. Joseph Weber of Sheboygan and Miss Marie Resong of Neillsville were united in marriage Wednesday April 14, at 8 o’clock a.m. at the Holy Name Church in Sheboygan. Mons. D. F. Thiel officiating.

They were attended by Miss Clara Ardis, cousin of the groom and Mr. Norbert Weber, the groom’s brother. The bride wore white satin with a flare of over shadow lace trimmed with rhinestone settings. She carried a bouquet of tea roses and swan Sonia tired with forget-me-knots.

Dinner and supper was served at the groom’s home to a large number of friends and relatives. The home decorations were yellow and white. Among the guests were the bride’s mother, Mrs. Matt Resong.

The groom is a stranger to most people here, but is a young man of fine appearance and is to be congratulated on his choice of one of Neillsville’s most winsome young ladies. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Resong, grew to womanhood here, graduated from Neillsville High School in the class of 1923 and since her graduation had held a position in a store in Sheboygan.

The young couple came to Neillsville on a wedding trip and will be at home after may 1, at 408 Michigan Avenue, Sheboygan.
