Lawrence, Naomi (Marriage - 28 April 1926)
On Wednesday, April 28, at 2 p.m. Miss Naomi Lawrence of York and Mr. Ira Davis of Marshfield were united in holy matrimony at Loyal by Rev. James.
They were attended by Miss Irma Rowe and Mr. Irvin Vandeberg, cousins of the bride. The bride was dressed in a Bios de rose crepe dress and carried a bouquet of roses and sweet peas. The bridesmaid’s dress was tan flat crepe. She carried a bouquet of roses and snapdragon. The groom wore navy blue and the best man grey.
The groom was born and brought up on a farm in the town of Beaver, and has always borne a most excellent reputation. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Rowe of the town of York. She graduated from Neillsville high school in the class of 1923, and has a large circle of admiring friends, in her home community and among her former school mates.
The young couple will reside in Marshfield where the groom has employment.
The Press joins their many friends in hopes of their happiness.
