Marshfield Clinic will open a satellite medical facility in Loyal Oct 17.
The new medical clinic, which will be staffed by physicians from the Marshfield
Clinic-Greenwood Center, will be located at 235 Main St in the medical office
previously occupied by Dr. A. P. Hable.
The decision to establish the Loyal practice was made in order "to better serve
both our existing and new patients from the greater Loyal community," said
Robert Peterson, Marshfield Clinic administrator.
Providing services at the Loyal office will be Dr. Gary Janssen and Dr. Russell
Dean.
Janssen, an Eau Claire native who received his M.D. degree from the University
of Wisconsin-Madison Medical School, has been a member of the Greenwood Center
since July 1979. He is a board-certified specialist in family practice.
Dean, who recently joined the Greenwood Center staff, also is a board-certified
family practitioner. A native of Bloomington, Minnesota, he received his M.D.
degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School.
Loyal area residents already are served by Neillsville Clinic physicians at the
Loyal Medical Center.
