Irene Jahr
Irene A. Jahr, 87, of 2401 East Monique Lane, Marshfield, died on Friday, May 28, 2004 at 1:45 p.m. at Marshfield Center, where she had resided since April 1, 2004.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home, Marshfield. Douglas Seubert will be the organist for James W. Eckes and John F. Binder as vocalists. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield, and serving as pallbearers will be Roger, Shane, Jack and Randy Kadolph, Robert Kult and David Jahr. The visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Irene was born on June 21, 1916, in Loyal, the daughter of William and Anna (Lemke) Kadolph. She married Wesley M. Jahr on June 18, 1934, in Loyal. After their marriage the Jahr's farmed in the Granton area until 1952 when they moved to Marshfield. Irene was employed at various places in Marshfield including Rollohome Corporation until her retirement. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She is lovingly survived by a daughter, Marian Jahr of Marshfield. Irene will be greatly missed by her daughter, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wesley, on July 6, 2001; and a brother, Hillus.
