Marlene M. Wolf, daughter of Lester Morrison, 813B E Third St., and Bennie G.
Mootz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Mootz Sr., Merrill, were married in a double-rinbg
ceremony September 3 at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby. The Rev. Douglas R.
Groenewold of Withee officiated.
Mrs. Sandra Ritter of greenwood was matron of honor and Glen Ritter, Greenwood,
best man. Alice Wolf of Merrill was bridesmaids and Frank Mootz, Merrill,
groomsman.
The bride had a floor-length ivory gown and carried pink and white roses, pink
carnations and baby's breath.
Her maid of honor had a peacock blue gown and the bridesmaid had a fuchsia
ensemble. Flowers to harmonize were arranged in their hair and each carried a
single rose with lily of the valley.
The reception, supper and dance were at Trianon Ballroom. The bridegroom works
for Abbyland Processing of Abbotsford. The newlyweds are living at Maplewood
Terrace, Abbotsford.
