Anderson, Alice and Jennie ( ? - 25 July 1908)

Last Saturday evening about 10 o’clock occurred one of the saddest accidents that ever happened in the city of Milwaukee when Alice and Jennie Anderson drowned in the river at that place. The girls were out boat-riding with their brother-in-law and another young man when they passed a steamer the waves from which tipped their boat over and the two Anderson girls and the other young man were drowned. The bodies of the two girls were brought here for burial Tuesday morning as they used to live in Town Deer Creek. The funeral took place Wednesday morning, Rev. Jankee speaking a few well chosen words at the Norwegian cemetery where the interment took place.
