Schlinsog, Violet (Marriage - 6 June 1926)
Mr. Elmer Krause of Neillsville and Miss Violet Schlinsog of the town of Grant, were married Sunday at 8 o’clock a.m., June 6, at the Maple Works Lutheran parsonage, Rev. Theo. D. Martens officiating. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schlinsog. The bride wore a dress of Boise de Rose crepe and carried a bouquet of yellow roses and sweet peas. A shower in honor of the bride was held Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schlinsog, at which many pretty and useful articles were presented to her.
After the wedding ceremony, the young couple left by auto for Appleton and other points on a week’s wedding trip. On their return they will make their home in Neillsville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Krause of this city. He recently bought out the Neverman barber shop and has established a good business here. He is popular with his patrons and well liked by all who knew him. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Schlinsog of Grant and is a young lady of fine personality and deservedly popular among the young people of her community.
The Press joins in wishing them success and happiness.
