Reich, Clara (Marriage - 4 June 1926)

Mr. Henry Grottke of the town of Fremont and Miss Clara Reich of the town of York were married June 4 at the Maple Works Lutheran parsonage, Rev. Theo. D. Martins officiating. They left immediately after the ceremony for Chicago on a wedding trip, returning last week.

On Thursday evening, June 24, a large number of friends and relatives gave the couple a shower at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gus. Reich, and many useful and pretty gifts were presented to them.

Both the bride and groom were brought up on a farm and are well prepared to carry on the work on the groom’s farm near Chili. They will live for a time at the home of the groom’s brother, Wm. Grottke, until the house on the groom’s farm is completed.
