BLACK RIVER FALLS LAWYER KILLED BY ACCIDENT

L. Olson Ellis, a well-known attorney of Black River Falls, was instantly killed June 12, by the accidental discharge of an automatic revolver. It has been his practice for many years to carry a revolver home from the office, place it on a desk in the living room and leave it there until he started for the office next morning. On the morning of the accident he put on his hat, lit his pipe and stepped in to the room to get the revolver. No one was with him when it happened. He was 55 years of age and had practiced law in Black River Falls for 23 years, serving two terms as district attorney.
