Bauer, Susan Janiece (27 August 1983)

Miss Susan Janiece Bauer of Mineral Point, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin J. Bauer, Neillsville, was given in marriage by her father August 27 to Kenneth Paul Ludlum, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Ludlum of Mineral Point.

The Rev. Joseph N. Henseler officiated at the ceremony in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Neillsville. Mrs. Glenn Short played the organ and Jane Kessler was soloist.

The bride had an ivory floor-length gown of organza and chantilly lace in Queen Anne styling with chapel train. Her Camelot headpiece held a fingertip veil of tulle and venise lace. In her cascade bouquet were apricot roses, ivory carnations and brown daisies.

Miss Carol Knoop of Wausau was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Kenneth Oldham of Stoughton, Mrs. Wayne Ziegler of Mineral Point and Miss Lisa Lewis, Wausau. Each had an apricot organza formal with matching derby and a hand spray of ivory daisies and beige chrysanthemums.

Best man was Robert Ludlum of Mineral Point. Groomsmen were Chuck Ludlum of Madison, Tom Ludlum of Dodgeville and Bill Ludlum, Mineral Point, and ushering were Patrick J. Bauer, Walker, Minnesota and Jim Ludlum, Mineral Point.

The reception and dinner were at the Wildcat Inn, Neillsville, and the wedding dance was at the Silver Dome Ballroom, Neillsville. After a wedding trip to Door County, the Ludlums will live at 721-1/2 Doty St. Mineral Point.

The bride graduated in 1979 from Neillsville High School and in 1981 from District 1 Technical Insitute-Eau Claire. She is a computer operator for Silicon Sensors Inc., Dodgeville. Her husband, who is employed by Nelson Industries, Mineral Point, graduated in 1977 from Mineral Point High School, Mineral Point.
