Lasiuk, David S. (25 Mar 1964 – 17 Apr 2022)
David S. Lasiuk, age 58, of Thorp, WI, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022, at
Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI. A Celebration of Life was held at
12 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Thorp Funeral Home. Visitation was held at
the funeral home, on Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by a burial
for immediate family in New St. Hedwig's Catholic Cemetery.
David Stanley Lasiuk was born on March 25, 1964, at St. Joseph's Hospital in
Chippewa Falls, WI., the son of Richard J. and Mary A. (Olocki) Lasiuk. David
attended Northern Colony Training Center, in Chippewa Falls. He also worked for
a Community Outreach in Owen, WI. and was considered a family member to several
group homes of which he was a member.
He could be a prankster just like his Dad and had a deep belly laugh and a smile
that was contagious. He loved water and was fascinated with rocks.
David is survived by his siblings: Debbie Kazle of Waverly, MN, JazzElle Lasiuk
of Santa Cruz, CA., John (Rose) Lasiuk of Hudson, WI and Joanie Lasiuk of
Waverly, MN.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Rick Lasiuk.
