Johnson, Ernest (? - 9 Sep 1928)
Ernest Johnson, who was found dead at the Ole Field farm in the town of Hewett Sept. 9, 1928, was buried in Neillsville Cemetery Friday, funeral services being held at the Lowe Funeral Home, Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating.
None of his relatives were found. A rumor was current here that deceased had a brother at Duluth, who is a railroad engineer. District Attorney Nehs got in touch with the chief of police in that city, but he was unable to locate anyone of the name, and as of yet no further information has been discovered as to any relatives he might have, or as to the manner of his death.
