(27 May 1844 - 21 Sep 1928) Mary Almeda Shaver
was born in Catarugas Co., N.Y., May 27, 1844, died at Loyal, Clark
County, Wis., on Sept. 21st, 1928. On Dec. 25th, 1862 she was
united in marriage with John F. Brasier in Sheboygan Co., Wis. In
the year 1880 they moved to Loyal, where she has lived for 48
years. She is survived by
seven children who mourn her loss. They are: Jennie Clark, Brandon,
Iowa; Robert, Chippewa Falls; Harriet Fischer, Battle Creek, Mich.;
Emily Huffman, Denver, Colorado; Albon, Medford; Olive, Mrs. John
Irvine, Neillsville; Ray, Hartford; also twenty-eight grandchildren
and eighteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. William Lyons of
Loyal and one brother, Andrew Shaver of Springfield, S. D. She lived a
thorough Christian life, was a wonderful mother and a sincere
friend to all, and her loss will be keenly felt by all who knew
