MAY 1872 - 14 NOV 1928) William Seelow was
born in Germany May 1, 1872, and died in Pine Valley, Clark County,
Wis., Nov. 14, 1928, aged 56 years, 6 months and 13 days. He came to Clark
County when he was about 20 years of age and worked around
Neillsville a few years, and then bought land in the northwest part
of Pine Valley, where he developed a good farm, which remained his
home until he died. Mr. Seelow was
married in 1901 to Miss Ida Dux. She died in Jan. 1902. In Nov.
1902 he was married to Miss Martha Ott, who survives him. He was a man of
good habits, honest, upright and industrious, a kind husband and
father and an excellent citizen. Deceased leaves
eight children to mourn his death: Arthur and Herbert of Nekoosa;
Albert, Paul, Arnold and Louis at home; two daughters, Leona and
Velda at home; also one step-son, Edward Keuer, one brother, Fred
Seelow, and two sisters: Mrs. Fred Witt and Mrs. August Dux, both
of Pine Valley. The funeral was
held Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, of which deceased was
a member, Rev. Wm. Baumann officiating. Burial took place in Pine
Valley Cemetery. Seelow Farm, Sec. 4, Pine Valley,
Clark Co., WI
