1852 - 27 NOV 1928) Mrs. Ole Lowe, one
of the older residents of Neillsville, Clark County, Wis., passed
away at her home on the north side Tuesday morning, Nov. 27,
1928. Mrs. Lowe, whose
maiden name was Thera Thompson, was born in Norway, Oct. 1, 1852.
She came to Minneapolis in 1882, and on March 3, 1882, was married
to Ole Lowe. They came to Neillsville in the fall of 1844 and have
made their home here ever since. She was a lady of quiet habits,
devoted to her home, but also a kind and helpful friend and
neighbor and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She leaves to
mourn her death her husband and one daughter, Leafy, Mrs. Louis
Larson of St. Paul, and two grandchildren; also two brothers in
Norway. The funeral was
held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Trinity Norwegian Church, of
which deceased was a member. Rev. Aaberg of Greenwood will
