Doughty, Selina (? - 27 Dec 1928)

Mrs. Lina Doughty, formerly of Granton, Clark County, Wis., passed away on Dec. 27, 1928 at the Deaconess Hospital.

Mrs. Lina Doughty, whose maiden name was Selina Williams, had been a resident of West Allis for 18 years and the friends and relatives that came from all parts of the state to help make one of the largest funeral ever held in West Allis, spoke of the high esteem that she was held in the community.

The Ladies Auxiliary of E.M.B.A. T.M.E.R. & L. Co., of which Lina Doughty had been a member ofr the past ten years, took part in the service. Rev. Martin of the Baptist Church officiated. She was laid to rest in the Pine Lawn Cemetery.

Those from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Willis Williams, Roy Williams, Mrs. Harry Hales, Mr. Orliff Doughty and Gerald Doughty of Wis. Rapids; George and Vance Williams of Burlington, Ill.; Mrs. J. Cassand and Mrs. Roy Cook of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Hadfield and Mrs. Ida Schumacher of Waukesha; Olga and Ralph Averill of West Bend; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Meddaugh, George Meddaugh and Mr. Stackle and daughter of Juneau.
