NEILLSVILLE PRESS (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 03/07/1929 Lakosky, Mrs. Fred
(1896? - 1 Mar 1929) Mrs. Fred Lakosky
of Loyal, Clark County, Wis. died at the hospital in Marshfield
Friday after lying helpless from a broken neck for about three
months. Mrs. Lakosky was
assisting at the Fred Church home at the time of Mrs. Church's
death, and by a misstep fell down the cellar stairs, breaking her
neck. The accident did not result in instant death as is usual in
such cases, but she continued to live though practically paralyzed.
She was taken to the Marshfield hospital, where the neck was put
into a cast and expert surgical treatment given, but in the end the
injury proved fatal. Mrs. Lakosky was
33 years of age. She was born in Manitowoc and was there married to
Fred Lakosky in 1917. Five years ago they moved to Loyal, where Mr.
Lakosky went into the farm implement business. She leaves her
husband and two children. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
