and Miss Dorothy Garbisch were quietly married at the parsonage of
the Mapleworks Lutheran Church, Rev. V. M. Keiper officiating. The groom was
attended by his brother, Virgil Billman and the bride's sister,
Miss Gertrude Garbisch, was bridesmaid. The bride wore a dress of
white crepe back over satin, trimmed with lace and rhinestones and
a veil. The bridesmaid wore a dress of orchid georgette. After the ceremony
a bountiful wedding supper was served at the home of the bride. The
table waitresses were Misses Ida and Emma Retta. The dining room
was decorated in orchid and white with wedding bells. The groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Billman of Colby, Wis. He spent the last
few years working for the barber diploma, which he received
recently. He is now operating a barber shop at Granton, Clark
County, Wis. He is a young man of fine character and is successful
and progressive in his profession. The bride is the
third daughter of Mr. Fred Garbisch of the town of York. She has
spent practically all her life at home. She is a young lady of fine
character and has been helpful and kind in her home life, and is
well qualified to do her part in the new home. Their many friends
join in wishing them success and happiness throughout their married
