NEILLSVILLE PRESS (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 02/21/1929 Irvine, Evelyn (9
FEB 1929) Mr. and Mrs. John
Irvine received a letter from their daughter, Evelyn, Saturday,
breaking the news of her marriage on Saturday, Feb. 9th, 1928, at
Minneapolis, to Mr. Arthur Paff. The young people had planned on
keeping their marriage a secret until after the school year, but
the fact leaked out and so they decided to announce it. Mrs. Paff is one
of Neillsville, Clark County, Wisconsin's most charming young
ladies and has taken part in many of Neillsville's social events
for a number of years. She is a graduate of the Neillsville High
School and also of Whitewater Normal. She has been teaching the
commercial course at Bloomer for several years, and there she met
her husband. Mr. Paff is also a teacher in the Bloomer High School.
He has visited the Irvines here on several occasions and has
impressed all who met him with his many excellent qualities and his
evident ability. Mr. and Mrs. Paff
will continue their school work to the end of the school year and
then expect to take up housekeeping. The best wishes and
congratulations of the many friends of the young people are
cordially extended to them. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
