Johnson, Sam (1875? - 10 Apr 1929)

Sam Johnson, well known citizen of Loyal, Clark County, Wis., died in that village April 10, 1929, aged 53 years. He had been in failing health for some time.

Mr. Johnson was born in the town of Pine Valley, west of Neillsville, and grew to manhood there. His father, William Johnson, is still living on the home farm.

Mr. Johnson was married to Miss Dolly Weaver of Loyal, and for many years they have lived in that village and carried on the Hotel Johnson.

Mr. Johnson has many friends in and about Neillsville, as well as in his own locality, besides many others of the traveling public, who esteem him most highly.

He leaves his wife and three children, Robert, Neal and Arleen.

The funeral was held Saturday at the M. E. Church in Loyal.
