Gorzelitz, Vivian (18 September 1916 - 3 October 1983)
Neillsville native Mrs. Otto F. (Vivian) Gorzelitz, 67, Appleton, died Monday at
Kaukauna Community Hospital.
Services will be Thursday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Neillsville. The Rev. Andrew Martins of Trinity Lutheran Church of Kaukauna will
officiate. Burial will be in Neillsville Cemetery. Visitation will be at Gesche
Funeral Home.
The former Vivian Radtke was born September 18, 1916 in Neillsville, to the late
Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Florence Salisbury) Radtke and received her education there.
She was married to Otto F. Gorzelitz September 19, 1942 in Neillsville and they
farmed in the Town of Weston until 1947 and then moved to Kaukauna and she was
employed at Conway Hotel in Appleton for many years.
A member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Kaukuana, Mrs. Gorzelitz is survived by
her husband; a son, Donald of Kaukauna; four sisters, Mrs. Viva Linnell of
Welch, Minnesota, Mrs. Emry (Dolores) Sorenson of Owen, Mrs. Don (Donna) Cordes
of Homasassa, Florida and Mrs. Hebert (Ila) White of Columbus, Georgia; three
brothers, Everett Radtke of Wheatfield, Indiana, Marvin Radtke of Greenwood and
Clinton Radtke of St. Paul, Minnesota; and five grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a sister, Ethel.
