and Miss Mary Wendt were married on May 2, 1929, at Tacoma, Wash.
The ceremony taking place at the parsonage of the Congregational
Church of that city. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wendt of the town of York, Clark
County, Wis. She graduated from the Commercial Course of
Neillsville High School in the Class of 1925 and later attended
Miss Brown's School of Business in Milwaukee, and for two years was
employed in the tuberculosis hospital of the National Soldier Home
at Milwaukee. The groom has a
government position through the Civil Service Commission at McNiel
Island, Wash. He had a home prepared at McNiel Island where they
went immediately after the ceremony. The bride has a
large circle of friends here among her former schoolmates and
others who knew and admired her, who will extend wishes for their
happiness and prosperity, in which the Press most heartily
