JUN 1929) A very pretty
wedding took place at the Methodist Parsonage at Neillsville, Clark
County, Wis., on Wednesday afternoon, June 19, 1929, at 2 o'clock,
when Erline Uhlman, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
Uhlman of York, Clark County, was united in marriage to Mr. Everett
Shaw, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Len Shaw of Weston. The
wedding was solemnized by Rev. Lambright. The bridal pair
was attended by Miss Elnora Uhlman, sister of the bride, as maid of
honor, and Miss Lucille Stanley, cousin of the groom, as
bridesmaid. The groom's attendants were Mr. Leo Stanley, cousin of
the groom, and Mr. Erwin Greeler, cousin of the bride. The bride was
beautifully gowned in a dress of white satin and silk lace and wore
a veil of white tulle caught with a bridal wreath. She carried a
shower bouquet of pin and white tea roses and lily of the valley.
The maid of honor and bridesmaid were attired in orchid crepe de
chine dresses and wore head bands of brilliants; they carried
bouquets of white carnations and orchid sweet peas. The groom and
his attendants wore dark suits. Following the
ceremony a reception was given at the home of the bride's parents.
The rooms were beautifully decorated in orchid and white. The
waitresses were Irma Bohnsack, Martha Buchholz and Hilda Edens. The bride, for the
past two years has been assisting with household duties at the
Theo. Schlinkert home in Neillsville. She has a very pleasing
disposition and is well liked by all who know her. The groom has
spent most of his time helping his father with the farm work. He is
a very industrious young man. The evening after
the marriage the young couple gave a wedding dance at Christie.
They will go to housekeeping with the groom's parents. The guests from
away were Mrs. Charles Buss, Oconomowoc; Mr. and Mrs. Louis
Walters, Watertown; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schutt, Neosha; Mr. and Mrs.
Herman Korth, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Nills of Clyman and Mr. and Mrs. Ed
