and Miss Fern Mable Olson were united in marriage on Wednesday,
June 19, 1929, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Oluf Olson, Rev. W. H. Norton officiating. The groom's brother,
Morton Holt, was groomsman and the bride's sister, Miss Mildred
Olson, was bridesmaid. After the ceremony a fine wedding dinner was
served at the home of the bride's parents on Court St., only
relatives of the bride and groom being in attendance. Among these
were the groom's great-grandfather, C. E. Forman, aged 89 years,
and the groom's grandmother, Mrs. Holt, also well advanced in
years. The groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Holt of the town of Grant, Clark County,
Wis. He grew up on a farm, was employed on a dray line in
Neillsville for some time, worked for the New Dells Lumber Co. the
past year and now has a position with the Neillsville Milk Products
Co. The bride was educated in Neillsville schools, graduated from
the commercial course in high school, worked for a time as
stenographer and later graduated from the teachers training
department. The young couple went to housekeeping at once at No.
