(26 Augl 1929) The marriage of
Dr. A. A. Blum of Shawano and Miss Josephine Palmer of Neillsville,
Clark County, Wis., took place in Milwaukee Monday, Aug. 26, 1929,
Rev. Selle of Milwaukee officiating. The bride is the daughter of
Mrs. Mert Palmer of this city. She was born in the town of Pine
Valley and grew to womanhood here, passing through Neillsville
grades and graduating from high school in 1921. She entered Stevens
Point Normal School, graduating in 1923, and has taught
successfully ever since, the past five years teaching in the city
schools of Shawano. She is a young lady of fine personality and has
a host of friends in and around Neillsville. Dr. Blum is well
established in his profession in Shawano and stands high in that
community, both personally and professionally. On his occasional
visits her a number of our people have become acquainted with him
and esteem him highly. After their
marriage Dr. and Mrs. Blum visited in Milwaukee and make a short
auto trip through the east part of the state, arriving her Friday.
They expect to leave Wednesday for Shawano, where they will
