OCT 1929) Mr. Lisle Armitage
and Miss Doris Gower were quietly married on Monday, Oct. 28, 1929,
at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Parsonage, Rev. S. J. Lambright
officiating. They were attended by Mr. Alvin Wendt, a friend of the
groom, and Miss Vera Gower, sister of the bride. The groom is the
son of Mrs. George Iffland, former Mrs. Della Armitage. He was born
in the farm home in Weston, Clark County, Wis., and has lived there
practically all his life, and is a young man of excellent
reputation. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Gower of Alma Center, and has been a
visitor in this locality occasionally from childhood, and has a
circle of admiring friends. The young couple
