COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 02/16/1922 Braun, Richard
(1889 - 9 Feb 1922) Richard Braun
committed suicide by hanging himself at the farm home of Charles
Ramberg in the town of Worden, Clark County, Wis. on Thursday last.
Braun had been left in charge of the farm on that day by Mr. and
Mrs. Ramberg and upon their return in the evening found the body
haning in a hay shed near the residence. No plausible reason for
the act can be given as the young man was in apparent good health
and had shown no signs of insanity or disturbed mind. Deceased was
the son of Carl Braun and was born in the town of Worden in 1889.
He leaves to mourn, his aged father, Carl Braun, two sisters, Mrs.
Charles Ramberg and Mrs. Oscar Ramberg, and one brother, Emil
Braun. Mr. Braun was an
ex-serviceman, six members of Cecil G. Tormey Post of the American
Legion acting as pallbearers at the funeral, which was held on
Saturday afternoon last from the Ramberg home, Rev. F. G. Elwick
officiating, interment following in the family lot in the town of
Worden Cemetery. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
