Conklin, Josephine M. (5 Mar 1855 - 18 Mar 1922)

Josephine M. Conklin was born in Macon Co., Ill. on March 5th, 1855 and passed from this life at her home in Kilbourne, Ill., on Saturday, March 18, 1922 at the age of sixty-seven years, thirteen days.

She lived in the neighborhood of Kilbourne all her life excepting seven years spent at Thorp, Clark County, Wis.

She was united in marriage to Charles E. Conklin on March 6, 1977. To this union was born four children, two daughters and two sons, the two daughters preceding her in death. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband and two children, Home C. of Thorp, Wis., Leslie R. of Kilbourne, Ill., one sister, Martha J. Cottle of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. one brother, Marquis D. Clofelter of Anrep, Ark., six grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday from the Kilbourne Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Branson of Greenview, interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
