Klick, Mary (AUG 1921)

What can safely be called the prettiest wedding of the season in this neighborhood took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Klick in the town of Worden, Clark County, Wis. It was a double affair, the contracting parties being, John Klick and Pearl Kmieciak, Leon Kmieciak and Mary Klick. At 9:15 a.m. the wedding party assembled at the above mentioned place and after the customary parental blessings, went to church where they attended Holy Mass, Father Borczcak of Czestochowa Junction and Father Kulig of St. Hedwig's Congregation officiating. Father Kulig finally tied the nuptial knot.

Both of the brides wore dresses of silk messaline and georgette and silk veils, and carried a bouquet of white roses and sweet peas. Mary and Helen Tobola served as flower girls. John Klick attend by Frank Kmieciak, brother of the bride, as best man, and Frank Klick was best man for Leon Kmieciak.

The maids of honor were Miss Stella Bryzezinski and Miss Helen Brzoza of Stanley.

The automobiles carrying the bridal couples were also trimmed in red, white and blue. After the ceremony a bountiful dinner was served to over one hundred and twenty-five guests, who were invited to celebrate the event. The afternoon and nigh were spent in dancing and merry-making, everyone having the time of his life. Both of the couples are well known in this community and enjoy a large circle of friends and relatives who all join in wishing them a long, happy and prosperous married life. Those who came from afar to attend the wedding were Mrs. G. Novak, Frank Kmieciak and Walter Kmieciak of Chicago, and Frank Klick from St. Paul. They have all left for their home at this writing.
