Wrye, Myrtle (28 SEP 1921)
The marriage of Miss Myrtle Wrye, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Al Wrye, and Mr. Emmett Flora, son of Sam Flora, took place at the home of her parents on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 1921 in the presence of about sixty guests. The bride was attired in a gown of white satin overlaid with silver embroidered net, a wedding veil of net and carried a bouquet of white roses and pink carnations. They were attended by Miss Mabel Flora, sister of the groom, and Earl Wrye, brother of the bride, little Lillian Wrye being flower girl. After the ceremony a bountiful wedding supper was served. Among those who attended the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Warner of thorp, Mr. and Mrs. George Bostwick of Polley, W. H. Warner and wife of Hannibal, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wrye of Butlerville, Earl Wrye of Black River Falls, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Bowie, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Edwardson and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cook of Stanley.
