COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 06/28/1923 Blank, Albert (15
APR 1853 - 22 JUN 1923) Albert F. Blank
was born in Pulmer Co., Germany, April 15, 1853 and died at his
home here Friday morning, June 22, 1923, at the age of 60 years, 2
months and 7 days. He came to America
at the age of 12 years and made his home with his sister, Mrs. F.
Koepke at Neenah, Wis. On March 2nd, 1887 he was married at
Shiocton to Miss Eunice Morris. They came immediately to Thorp,
Clark County, Wis. and settled in their home, which has been the
family residence ever since. To this union were born six children,
Marlyn, Bernard, Ashley, Almeda, Truvia and Eylward, all of whom,
with the exception of Bernard, who died in infancy, remain to
comfort their mother in her bereavement. He also leaves two
sisters, Mrs. Augusta Timn of Ellington and Mrs. F. Koepke of
Neenah, and two grandchildren. He was a member of
the Lutheran Church and for 25 years a member of the I.O.O.F.
Lodge. Funeral services
were held Monday afternoon from the residence, Rev. Elwick
officiating, interment following in the Thorp Village Cemetery. Among us Mr. Blank
always ranked as a kind neighbor and friend, in short he commanded
the respect of all as the large attendance at his funeral fully
verified. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
