A. (7 Jan 1868 - 17 Apr 1924) Margaret Adeline
Joynt, eldest daughter of Frederick and Margaret A. Joynt, was born
near Latham, Logan Co., Ill., Jan. 7th, 1868. She died Thursday,
April 17th, 1924 at 1 p.m. at her home near Thorp, Clark County,
Wis., after a short illness of only 43 hours. She was dedicated
to God in infancy and was brought up in the church, which next to
her home, held first place in her heart throughout her entire life.
She was married to Ferd M. Lillich Dec. 28, 1892. To this union was
born two children, George O. Lillich, Pullman, Wash., and Pauline
Lillich, now in school at Stout Institute, Menominee, Wis. She resided in
Illinois until 1918, where she left a great many dear friends who
are greatly shocked to hear of her passing. Upon coming to
Thorp, she quickly found her place in the Lord's work and labored
faithfully for the spread of the gospel. She leaves to mourn her
departure, her husband and children, two sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services were held in the M. E. Church at Thorp, Wis.
Tuesday, April 22, 1924 at 2:30 p.m., rev. Tomlinson of Eau Claire,
officiating. Mrs. H. M. Hall, a
sister, and D. J. Joint, a brother, from Latham, Ill., and S. J.
Joynt, a brother from Ivanhoe, Minn., were here for the
