Mrs. Fred Pitzen was found dead at her home in the town of Reseburg, Clark County, Wis. on Tuesday evening of last week. Deceased had fallen into a cistern located in the basement, through a small opening in the kitchen floor. As no inquest was held it is an open question whether the cause of death was an accident or pre-meditated suicide.
Deceased leaves to mourn, her husband and five children, to whom the sympathy of the entire community is extended in their great bereavement..
The funeral occurred on Friday from St. Bernard's Church, followed by interment in the Catholic Cemetery.
