Young Musicians Give a Recital in the Baptist Church Tuesday Evening - Miss Neverman’s Pupils

Tuesday evening Miss Neverman’s class in piano and organ gave a recital for the benefit of their parents and friends. It was to show what the deciples [sic] of Orpheus were doing and to treat their ability before an audience. There were fourteen pupils on the program who either are or have been taking lessons of Miss Neverman. Some of them are so small that their music book is almost as large as they are. Yet their work is a credit to themselves and their teacher. It shows in the future Greenwood need not have music famine. Two cornet selections by Ed. Wollenberg and a vocal selection by the LaFille Quartet added to the variety of the program and all told furnished a pleasant and profitable evening’s entertainment.
