Bogumill, Andrew (20 NOV 1857 - 10 Feb 1925)

Andrew Bogumill, an old resident of the town of Withee, Clark County, Wis., died suddenly at his farm home there on Tuesday morning, Feb. 10th, 1925.

He was born Nov. 29, 1857 in Pozen, Germany. On Feb. 6, 1880 he was united in marriage with Mary Skrypinski. The following April they came to America and located at Osceola, Pa., later moving to Illinois. Thirty-four years ago they came to Thorp and made their home on the farm now occupied.

He leaves to mourn, his wife and nine children and 27 grandchildren, Mrs. James Murray, Bird Island, Minn., John G. of Thorp, Mrs. Theo. Arabasy, Downers Grove, Ill., Mrs. L. A. Hemerick, Madelia, Minn., William A., Mellen, Wis., Louis C., Fairmont, Minn., Peter, Rib Lake, Wis., Mrs. Joseph Neiman, Thorp, Mrs. Sylvester Krakowicke, Lublin. Two brothers, Joe S., Thorp, William of Shreveport. La., and one sister, Mrs. M. Yetzko of Portage, Pa.

The funeral took place from St. Hedwig's Church on Friday morning, Rev. Kulig officiating, interment following the ceremony in the church cemetery.
