Strassman died at his home seven miles east of Kiel, Wis., on
Wednesday, June 10, 1925, of hardening of the arteries, aged
sixty-nine years, four months and four days. Mr. Strassman was born
at Kiel on Feb. 6, 1856, where he resided until he reached manhood.
He was united in marriage to Miss Mathilda Miller and in 1887 they
moved to Thorp, Clark County, Wis., where they made their home for
a period of thirty-eight years, removing to Kiel again nearly four
years ago. Deceased was a man
of excellent habits, a kind husband and an indulgent father.
Besides a devoted wife, he leaves one daughter, Mrs. Clyde Thomas
of St. Croix Falls, Wis., and three sons, Walter of Ontonagan,
Mich., Ervin of this village and William who resides in British
Columbia. All except William were present at the funeral which took
place from the home on Saturday afternoon last, interment following
