COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 05/14/1925 Hahn, Viola (9 MAY
1925) A very quiet
affair took place at the home of Otto Hahn, Saturday May 9, 1925,
at 6 o'clock, when Rev. Roberts, of the first M. E. Church of
Manawa, united Vila Hahn and Delos Barrett in the holy bonds of
matrimony. Emery Jones and Miss Dorothy Vahn of Manawa, attended
the couple. The bride wore a gown of golden brown while the groom
was attired in blue broadcloth. The decorations were yellow and
white with jonquils as the leading flowers. The guests were the two
immediate families. Everyone who knew this young couple is away of
their love for quiet, plain life, and they chose to have the one
big event in their lives the same. Miss Hahn taught school at
Thorp, Clark County, Wis. and Delos Barrett, was born her and lived
until he graduated, then joined his dad and brother, Lawrence, in
Milwaukee where he has been since. His mother and sisters moved
from here in the spring after school was out. Miss Viola will
continue her school at Kiel for the rest of the term, when she will
join her husband in Milwaukee, where they will reside. Delos is
engaged in the brick and cement block work with his father. The
Courier joins their many friends in tendering sincere
congratulations. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
