COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 06/18/1925 Lockbaum, Larrain
(17 JUN 1925) A very pretty
wedding took place at St. Bernard's Church Wednesday morning at
nine o'clock, when Miss Larrain Lockbaum, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Jacob Lockbaum, became the bride of Norman Roen of Chippewa Falls.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. Muckerheide in the presence of a
large assemblage of relatives and friends. The bride was attended
by her sister Miss Annabell Lockbaum, as maid of honor and Miss
Lillian Toutant, cousin of the groom, as bridesmaid. The groom was
attended by the bride's brother, Mr. William Lockbaum. The bride
wore a gown of echro lace over peach satin with a veil to match and
carried a bouquet of ophelia roses. Miss Annabell wore a gown of
echro lace over pink satin and corsage bouquet. Miss Lillian wore a
gown of Pink canton crepe with hat to match and carried a bouquet
of pink carnations. After the services
at the church the party returned to the home of the bride's
parents, where a reception and wedding dinner and supper was
served. The home was beautifully decorated with pink and white
roses for the occasion. The afternoon and evening was spent in
dancing in an open air pavilion. Mr. and Mrs. Roen will reside at
the groom's farm at Bateman after their wedding trip. A large host
of friends join in wishing them a long, happy and prosperous
journey through life. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
