Alexander, Joan C. (11 January 1938 – 28 November 2013)

Joan C. Alexander, 75, formerly of Sycamore, Ill., passed away Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013.

Joan was born Jan. 11, 1938, in Viroqua, Wis., daughter of the late Harley William and Theo Vinetta (Gower) Crume.

Joan is survived by two sisters, Kay Buettner of Granton, Wis., and Carol Campbell of Washington; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles (2012); parents; one brother, Harlan Crume; and three sisters, Catherine Dennison, Lois Delat and Joyce Stein Krause.

A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley, Wis. Interment will take place later in Illinois.
